CognitiveScale Awarded Multi-Year Contract to Deploy Cognitive Solutions Across the Enterprise
CognitiveScale’s machine intelligence powered Cognitive Cloud Fabric to aid patient experience, employee engagement, and enterprise operations
AUSTIN, TX – February 25, 2016 – CognitiveScale, the Cognitive Cloud Company, and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center have embarked on a multi-year initiative to apply the power of cognitive computing to accelerate healthcare decision-making, enhance the patient experience, and further improve employee productivity.
CognitiveScale has been working with MD Anderson Cancer Center since 2014 to implement cognitive solutions to transform patient engagement.

MD Anderson and CognitiveScale first piloted a patient concierge application in late 2014 to surface personalized and actionable care insights from private, public, and social data to help patients navigate their experience at MD Anderson. Built on CognitiveScale’s healthcare cognitive cloud, the patient concierge is now being integrated with the free information portal MyMDAnderson.

As part of the contract, CognitiveScale is also collaborating with MD Anderson to create a center of competency for cognitive computing. This will include training the MD Anderson technical team to design and build cognitive solutions through CognitiveU™, CognitiveScale’s comprehensive training curricula for systems integrators, enterprise IT professionals, and application developers.
