Earns Spotlight Among “25 Emerging Vendors You Need to Know About”
AUSTIN, TEXAS – July 24, 2015 – CognitiveScale™, the Cognitive Cloud™ company, today announced it has been named to the “10 Coolest Cloud Startups of 2015 (So Far),” by CRN Magazine. Additionally, the company is featured among the “25 Emerging Vendors You Need to Know About,” as part the publication’s exclusive 2015 CRN® Emerging Vendors List.
The annual list features up-and-coming technology vendors that have introduced innovative products, creating opportunities for channel partners in North America to create high-margin, cutting-edge solutions for their customers. The vendors recognized this year have demonstrated a commitment to developing new technologies to meet growing market demands.
The “25 Emerging Vendors You Need to Know About” includes emerging companies the channel should especially be aware of. Some offering particularly unique, innovative technologies that have the potential to remake the segment of the IT industry in which they compete. Others are selected based on their devotion to the channel.
CognitiveScale is disrupting the cognitive computing industry, which is estimated to reach $50B by 2018. Its cognitive cloud platform, Insights Fabric, goes beyond traditional big data analysis by making sense of multi-structured data, including dark data, which usually goes uncollected or unanalyzed. Its cognitive computing layer infuses the analysis process with machine-augmented intelligence, getting smarter each time it’s used. This greatly improves decision making across lines of business, personalizes consumer experiences, especially in retail and travel, and is transforming healthcare into person-centric care.
“The recognition by CRN is both a rewarding and humbling experience and we are grateful to be featured as a leader in cloud-based cognitive computing,” said Akshay Sabhikhi, CEO, CognitiveScale. “While our team of all stars is critical to our success, we would not have been able to already exceed our 2015 goals and earn a spot on the CRN list without our partners and systems integrators.”
CognitiveScale has a dedicated partner program and has established strong relationships with IBM and Deloitte. Additionally, it recently launched CognitiveU, a comprehensive training curricula for systems integrators, enterprise IT professionals and application developers. Participants are trained on Insights Fabric and master the skills and go-to-market strategies required to accelerate a company’s investments in cognitive computing.
Companies included in CRN’s 2015 Emerging Vendors list were founded in 2009 or later and are actively working with channel partners in North America. The list, along with information about each vendor, will be published in CRN’s August 2015 issue and will be available online at www.crn.com.
